Wie die Zitrone zum Symbol für meine Heimatstadt Tittmoning wurde, dass ich "Die kleine Zitrone" nenne.

Am 30. Januar 2010 ging ich zum Postamt in Tittmoning, um Briefmarken zu kaufen, und fragte wie immer nach Sondermarken und die Dame zeigte mir welche mit Zitronen, die tatsächlich nach Zitronen rochen. Ich kaufte 12 Stück dann verließ ich das Postamt und ging in den Bioladen, spontan wie immer, mit der Inspiration 12 Zitronen zu kaufen, dachte ich wie cool es wäre 12 Zitronen mit einer Briefmarke direkt auf die Zitrone adressiert zu versenden.
Als ich mit den Briefmarken und den Zitronen nach Hause kam, wollte ich die 12 Zitronen in den Kühlschrank legen und in der untersten Kiste wo das Gemüse lag war eine vergessene Zitrone. Ich nannte die etwas ältere Zitrone sofort "Judas".
Der Tag war lang, ich machte Hunderte von Fotos von Zitronen in meinem Garten und vor meiner Tür und dann überall in Tittmoning.

Im Laufe der Zeit ist es mein unsterblicher Wunsch geworden, Tittmoning zur Partnerstadt von New York zu machen. Doch dazu später mehr.
Wenn Sie sich fragen, was das alles zu bedeuten hat, dann lassen Sie es. Nichts ist wichtig, schon gar nicht mein Wahnsinn. „Let me tell you“, dass die Dinge von selbst passieren und die Inspiration von überall herkommen kann.

Der Slogan von Nike wurde von den letzten Worten des zweifachen Mörders Gary Gilmore inspiriert. Er wurde zum Tode verurteilt, nachdem er bei einem Raubüberfall zwei Männer erschossen hatte.
Bevor das Urteil vollstreckt wurde, sagte er: "Let's Do It"

How the lemon became the symbol for Tittmoning which I call, "The Little Lemon.

On the 30th January 2010 I went to buy stamps from the then Post office in Tittmoning, asking as always for Special Stamps, and the lady showed me ones with lemons that actually smelled of lemons. I bought 12 with the little money I had with me. I then left the post office and went to the bio shop, as spontaneous as always, with the inspiration to buy 12 lemons, I thought how cool it would be to send 12 lemons adressed with a stamp directly on the lemon.
When I returned home with the stamps and the lemons I went to put the 12 lemons in the fridge and in the bottom box where the vegetables were was one forgotten lemon. I immediately called the slightly older lemon, "Judas"
The day was long, I took hundreds of photos of lemons in my garden & in front of my door & then all around Tittmoning.

As time goes on it has become my undying wish to make Tittmoning the twin city of New York. More about that later.
If you are wondering what all this is about then don't. Nothing matters, least of all my madness. Let me tell you, things happen by themselves & inspiration can come from anywhere.

Nike's slogan was inspired by the last words of two-time murderer Gary Gilmore. He was sentenced to death after shooting two men during a robbery.
Before the sentence was carried out, he said: "Let's Do It"
